PJ MAC HVAC of Bala Cynwyd adds furnace repair capacity for winter
The Bala Cynwyd company said it added technician availability and standardized diagnostics as heating season demand climbed.
PJ MAC HVAC Air Duct Cleaning, which operates out of Bala Cynwyd, said it has expanded its furnace repair work to keep up with heavier seasonal demand across Southeastern Pennsylvania.
The company said the change includes more technician availability and updated diagnostic procedures run out of its Bala Cynwyd headquarters, with the aim of serving homeowners and commercial property owners through the coldest stretch of the year. Demand has grown in Delaware County, Montgomery County and Chester County, according to the company, which has more than 32 years of industry experience.
"Our team has organized additional scheduling capacity and standardized diagnostic protocols to address furnace repair requests efficiently during the winter season," said Doug Stiefel, contact person for PJ MAC HVAC Air Duct Cleaning.
Under the expanded service, technicians inspect heat exchangers, burners, ignition systems, thermostats and airflow components to track down mechanical or electrical faults. Appointments come with written assessments describing what was found and what repairs are recommended, giving property owners documentation of the visit.
The company said it handles problems such as uneven heating cycles, odd noises, restricted airflow and furnaces that will not start, on both gas and electric systems in single-family homes, multi-unit residential buildings and light commercial properties. Work is done by licensed technicians following Pennsylvania regulations, manufacturer specifications and local mechanical codes.
The changes followed an operational review at the start of the 2026 heating season that looked at service request patterns, technician workload and parts inventory. That led to new use of scheduling software, revised tracking of commonly replaced furnace parts and better dispatch coordination between office staff and field crews.
The company also offers maintenance, inspections and air duct cleaning. It is located at 100 Presidential Blvd 303, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, and can be reached at (610) 672-3049.
